Dress Like An Egyptian
One ancient Egyptian collar was found on the remains of a nobleman who lived 1440 BC, showing that dogs were seen at least this far back then as more than just pesky pests!
In fact there’s even photographic evidence from 1900s people dressing their tiny pup friends up with fancy clothes and accessories to make them look like humans- nowadays it is common practice among pet owners everywhere – both big & small breeds alike enjoy donning canine clothing each season whether its during Halloween or Christmas time when they dress “their” dog Silky dressed up as Santa!

Medieval Dog Days
Dog fashion in the Medieval and Middle Ages was not as we know it today. Dogs were often seen as working animals and their owners did not pay much attention to their appearance.
However, there were some exceptions. Some dogs were given special garments to wear in order to show their owner’s status or wealth. For example, royal families would often dress their dogs in luxurious cloaks or collars made of gold or silver.
In the Middle Ages, it was also fashionable to shave a dog’s fur into intricate patterns. This was often done to make the dog look more like a lion, which was considered to be a noble and regal animal. Today, we would probably consider this practice to be cruel, but at the time it was seen as a way to show off one’s wealth and status.
Thankfully, dog fashion has come a long way since the Medieval and Middle Ages! We now dress our dogs in clothes that are both stylish and comfortable. We also pay more attention to their grooming needs and make sure to give them regular baths.

Did Dogs Ever Dress Like Cowboys?
In the early 1900s, dog fashion was not a thing. Dogs were typically just seen as loyal companions and were not really given much thought in terms of fashion. However, things began to change in the early 2000s when small dogs started becoming popular.
As far as we know dogs never wore cowboy hats or doggie chaps.
People began to view their dogs as more than just companions and started to dress them up in various outfits. This trend has continued and grown in popularity, with dog fashion now being a major industry.
There are a wide variety of dog fashion trends that have come and gone over the years. In the early 2000s, one of the most popular trends was dressing small dogs up in miniature versions of human clothes. This trend started in Europe and quickly spread to the United States. People would dress their dogs in everything from sweaters and jackets to dresses and skirts.

Dog Fashion In The 21st Century
Another popular dog fashion trend that emerged in the early 2000s was the use of dog strollers. This allowed people to take their dogs with them wherever they went without having to worry about them getting tired or dirty. Dog strollers come in a variety of styles and designs, and they are now a common sight in many cities around the world.
As dog fashion continues to evolve, new trends are sure to emerge. However, one thing that is certain is that dogs will always be popular companions and their place in the fashion world is only likely to grow.
