In 2019, a YouTube video featuring Brody the St. Bernard and his neighbor became viral online. People who watched the video were in awe of their lovely relationship, and their story was shared many times online. The video currently has over 10 million views and counting.
A man named David Mazzarella and his wife own Brody. According to them, Brody first came to their home as a puppy. From the beginning, he was a lovely and friendly puppy, and their neighbor Sally soon became his friend. As time passed, Brody’s daily visits to Sally became a habit.
Brody frequently sat with Sally in her living room to watch their favorite television program. Brody also receives bits of bread from Sally, which he enjoys so much that he would choose it over dog treats. Brody would also accompany Sally to her garden, where they would engage in a number of activities together.
Their daily bonding continued for years, and during this time, Brody grew larger and older. Sally grew older as well.
After suffering a small heart attack, she was compelled to relocate to a senior care facility and sell her home next to Brody’s. She quickly recovered from the attack, and she joyfully celebrated her 95th birthday with her loved ones.
However, Brody did not appear to understand why he was no longer able to see Sally next door. He proceeded to visit her house daily and peered through the doors and windows in search of his dearest buddy. He was miserable and greatly missed Sally.
Fortunately, Brody’s owners recognized what he was going through. Therefore, they would occasionally drive approximately three miles to the senior living facility so Brody can visit Sally.
Sally’s mood improves whenever the lovable dog visits. They simply sit and enjoy each other’s company, and Brody also values every moment with his BFF.
